My wife, who refers to Badger & Blade as Blade & Badger Me, got me some things for Christmas. She wrapped them yesterday, so she can torture me. She tells me they're future inhabitants of my shave den...

Go ahead and carefully open the package. Just make sure you tape them up.

My son comes home from the mall with my wife 2 weeks ago with a package from the Victorinox store and states emphatically, "DO NOT OPEN THIS BAG!" Meanwhile 4 days earlier, I while in the Victorinox store with my wife, we found that they sold Merkur products. I had a gold progress in the mail from a trade, and pointed it out to her in the case, saying that I had traded some gear for one of those. I've since realized I don't like it. I've also since realized my 9 year old son bought me a chrome progess.
So now I have 2 progress' one of which I have to pretend is the best razor in the world, which sentimentally it will be, however I'm not sure I like the shave.
Next year I'm going to point out things in the mall that I don't have, and probably wind up with a snoopy Tie.
anyhow, just my funny story.
