That's actually a replica Colt .44; however, Ruger does have some beautiful six shooters. Funny thing (don't tell Scotto!), that thing's just a $50 paperweight. It fires dummy rounds, and has mechanical functionality, but nothing more. The bullets aren't even .44, they're .45 ACP. :wink:

Austin, today was my first use of it. It worked like a champ, but as usual it will take some time to see its full potential. I don't know the knot size, but it is a small brush. If you look at this weeks "Acquisitions (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=920)" thread you can see it on my shelf next to some other brushes for comparison. I would guess it is ~ a 20 mm knot. After I use it for a while, I will post a review, but the first time was very nice indeed - made an obscene amount of lather and wasn't too moppy. Plus I just love the look of it.

I like it... It's not my number one A/S choice, but it does seem to get the job done (and it's certainly not my last choice). A little goes a long way (like the pre/post). The smell isn't fantastic, but it's light, and clean, and in no way offensive to the senses. I'd say the smell is pleasant. It also seems to moisturize well without any greasiness or residual funk afterwards. I'm pleased with it and will probably buy more when this bottle runs out (which I'm sure will be a long time from now).

If you're looking for a third opinion, this is my go to AS Balm. I use it almost daily. It's very moisturizing, the scent fades quickly, and I'm ready for the next layer. Generally I go straight for the EdT. If I have a bit of irritation, I'll top it with Corral Skin Food or Natureade Aloe 80. Well worth the investment.
