As a matter of fact, I'm working with Charles Roberts on just such a video. It probably won't be ready for a while though, as I'm learning Method shaving so I can do a proper video. "Stay tuned" as they say.

Mark, you nut! When do you find time to sleep? Or shave for that matter!

If she caught me in the shaving den with my digital video camera she wil figure I have totaly wacked out. My wife uses disposables and think throwing everything in the garbage is the way to go.

Hope mu use of smiles does't get on anyone's nerves I use them to convey emotions.

For the most part - here. (http://www.badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=8) Ignore the silly "shave terrain patterns" and all that other stuff - make the lather as described in the above post, then just shave away.

I generally try to do my videos when SWMBO is not around. She doesn't mind me doing them, but its easier for me to get distracted (sometimes with "honeydo's") when she's around.

Joel's thread referenced above is very good, but I think the "newbie" should go ahead and follow the forms until they're comfortable with the shave. Method shaving no longer uses traditional shave cream (the current incarnation is the Cube and shave Paste) so the "mix" is a little thinner than traditional lather and might create problems (a nick or some irritation) when blading. Following the forms will help reduce the chance of running into problems.

BTW, my 2nd Method shaving video, building the mix, will be out in a few days, with part 3 (shaving forms) a few days after that (part 1 has been out for a few weeks).
