You got me there....

Had an awful shave using Williams Shave Soap. I bought it for an upcoming Williams Shave Soap day later on in the month. But I will use it then and only then, it will be relegated to the power room as hand soap. It smells nice though.

My SOTD was Cologne Penhaligons Quercus, nice scent but it went away FAST. I like to get whiffs during the course of the day.

But I don't suppose BBQ sauce goes too well with it, had pulled pork for lunch today.

First shave with the Vision. It is quite the brute. Figuring I was a tough guy who usually shaves with a Progress wide-open, I figured I would start out nice and aggressive the the Vision. YOWCH! :cursing: I dialed it back for the rest of the shave and didn't have to call the EMTs. :redface:

I do like the Feather ASB. It is very light, easy to apply, and not at all greasy. I wouldn't give it high marks as a moisturizer however. If my skin feels good after a shave, I tend to use Feather or skin food. If I feel a little irritated, I usually will go to a thicker, more moisturizing balm, or if I happen to be using other like scents such as C&E Nomad. It has a light scent that dissipates quickly and doesn't interfere with any other fragrances you might use afterwards. Since the only word written in English on the whole bottle is "Feather", I'm not sure what the ingredients are!
Like all the products we use, YMMV.

Every now and then Tuesday morning will carry some top name shave creams and also fragrances. I have found Caswell Massey in Almond and Sandlewood for $7.99 a tub and I found Holston Cologne and Aftershave in a set for $14.95. I found a super thick Egyptian cotton face towel that is great for patting my face dry after my shave for two bucks.

I don't work for Tuesday Morning or have any business association with them.

No, that is my good ole Shavemac #181, my first "real" brush. I have had a Surrey (now sleeping with the fishes), Tweezerman (now in the possession of my son), an Omega Boar Bristle (which I do still use from time to time)and then the #181! Check out the SOTD gallery and you will see that it shows up somewhat frequently! Good eye to catch that it is indeed, a Shavemac!

This is the first time in maybe 10 years I actually used an alcohol-based after shave on my freshly-shaven mug. Good morning!! :eek: I have to admit, though, after some moisturizer my face felt better than it has in a long while. I took some perverse enjoyment of the shock of the alchohol. Not something I would do every morning, but not bad for a change of pace.
