Has anyone tried the Body Shop products for me. I tried a sample (tester) of the under eye cream and the face protector while I was killing time in the Baltimore airport and was surprised by both.

Just wondering if anyone else has used either for a longer period of time.

thanks,
Mike

i use some of their tea tree oil products, the foaming face wash helps me control my greasy skin, and the shaving cream is good (but i cant stand how it smells)

I have the Tea Tree Body Wash. The stuff is cool. How is that facial cleanser?? Does it dry your face out? Please, do tell! Thanks! :001_smile

I think very highly of the Body Shop products. I have used their face moisturizer/SPF, but it is rather expensive and I have found cheaper alternatives. It worked well though and did not leave my face feeling, well, anything (which is good!). I really like their Kistna line of aftershave balms and bodywashes...I might try the EdT this summer. I've used the Tea Tree Oil face wash too, good stuff. Their shave cream is good too. All around, I have found it to be quality stuff! Oh, and their hemp hand lotion and lip balm is the best!

The Body Shop Shaving Cream rocks!
+1 If not used alone I like to mix it with tabac soap

I also like their soap bars (without soap) especially almond and olive:thumbup:

I love body shop products. I like being able to get all the products I need from a single shop.
I use:
Mens face scrub (twice/three times a week)
Shave cream - some people don't like the smell, to be honest it isn't strong enough for me to worry about it. It moisturises the skin very very well and the razor glides through it. Function over scent imo, if you want to change the scent just add some essential oil from the body shop to it. Ylang Ylang I hear is quite nice.
Arbor after shave balm or razor relief (depending on whether or not I wear cologne that day or whether or not I butcher my face by mistake :S )
Face protector (in the evenings before bed)

I recommend all of the above, while they may be a little pricier than some alternatives, they do produce a good result at a reasonable price.

The face protector is pretty thick. A good winter moisturiser. The men's range has an interesting unique scent. 'Activist' has a good scent. And all of the tea tree stuff is great.
Trouble is, you walk into their shop and say " I'll have that and that and that..." Before you know it your down fifty quid!

I use the body shop tea tree (with witch hazel) facial toner, I have been very impressed with the product so far, it claims to help blemishes etc, as I am still at that stage in my life unfortunately. At first the smell is no to die for, it is however a very clean smell (you can nearly smell it's antiseptic properties). The smell quickly fades leaving the skin fresh and healthy looking, and it won't clash with any other smells. I have VERY reactive skin and thought this product may cause a "fire up" but infact it was the complete opposite. Well worth a look guys.

Cheers

For those interested in the body shop products, I saw a "Buy 2 get 1 free" promotion going on in store and online...

Face Protector is okay, but I prefer just their shaving cream and the Javari A/S balm.

They do a pretty good hair styling creme called Slick
also, they have a deoderant stick that smells nice...
and also their Hemp (yep it contains weed) face protector works fairly well when i have minor psoriasis flare-ups.

I have tried the razor relief, shave cream, Arber ASB and EDT. I like the razor relief best, although it sometimes burns depending on how bad I butcher my face. Arber has a nice smell, that lasts a couple of hours.

Shave Cream
I've noticed that when it comes to the scent of the shave cream, people either love it or hate it. I happen to love it.
However, most people agree that it is good performer.

Has anyone tried their Sandalwood fragrance oil? It's only $16 or so. I've seen positive reviews here and there on the intarwebs but value B&B members' opinions more.
