lately i´ve been seing infomercials and commercials for creams based on snail slime, apparently they claim that it speeds up wound recovery and lessen scars,

now, im not doubting the great minds that have bought us stuff like colon clensing, the magic bullet and the hawaii chair, but im starting to these people are running out of ideas,

anyone tested this stuff ?

Sarcastic response:
Oh, sure, it's the next big thing. But you can't go with that pre-manufactured garbage. Just rustle around in the leaves outside, find yourself a nice, juicy one, and go to town. The trick is, you don't want to hurt the little guy, just grab him by the shell and gently caress your face. He'll learn to like you after a while and you won't even have to go looking for him next time.

Emotional response:
Ew. Gross.

Truthful response:
No. :)

I imagine the drawn butter component would be hell on one's complexion.

Bear in mind that "snail slime" is just a type of mucus, very similar to what comes out of your nose when you have a cold. It wouldn't surprise me if this stuff had some positive properties, but unless I get a free sample I'm not going to try it.

You should have asked yesterday. I had lots of ' free samples ' but I am feeling much better today, thank goodness.

I did but they all ran away. Good riddance to them, good riddance I say.
