Do you guys in general prefer to cut your nails with scissors/nippers or with clippers? What are the pros & cons of the two different tools? I am looking at getting some Dovo tools (have been looking at http://www.classicshaving.com/catalog/item/522972/996812.htm, but am not sure in which direction to go. Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks.

Welcome to the site gusvs! I'm a clipper guy. For some reason, I just don't like the feel of cutting my nails with scissors. I have the medium size Feather brand clippers on Classicshavings website and they are very nice and very sharp. The smaller pair would probably be better for fingernails however.

I just bought these clippers yesterday. They're Henckels and fold completely flat. They too are very sharp but would likely would only be good for fingernails. I love the size of them!

Folded flat. They are on the pricey side. I'm sure I paid too much since I found them in a brick and morter store.

The sister-in-law manicures my nails, usually every 2nd week. She's terrific at it.

Jerry,
Thank you for your quick reply. Those Henckels clippers do look nice. Maybe I have to reconsider the scissors and give clippers a 2nd chance...
