Dealing with super soft water

I have a water softener, and it seems like it takes eons to wash the soap off of my body and hands. I am wondering what, if anything, would not be so difficult to wash off. I do use as little soap as possible, and that helps some, but even a small amount seems to take forever, and I often feel like there is a residue left. Any suggestions are welcome.

IIRC the feeling that it takes alot of water to rinse off your soap is just "feeling", the extra slickness is just your soft water.

Zeni's right. It's just the feeling -- the soap's gone. It will take a little getting used to, but you'll soon realize it's the best water you can shower and shave with. Wish I had one again!
