Lust for Gold - Glenn Ford western about a gold mine in Arizona. Ford goes into a barber shop for a shave about 50 minutes into the flick.
Shenandoah - released POW shaves beard off with a SR. Earlier, James Stewart rolled himself a big cigar, cut it in half, and had a smoke.
Detour - Released in 1945, this is a classic, cheaply made (20k) B film noir. Bad people making bad decisions results in a bad end.
At one point in the film the lead is shaving with what looks like a old type and he uses a large shaving brush which seems about the size of a Kent BK12.
After this film was made the lead actor (Tom Neal) severely beat another actor and was subsequently ostracized from the film making industry. He was later sent to jail for shooting his third wife. He died shortly after being released from prison.
