Progress with BRW knob assembly, Vulfix Rose cream, Astra SS (2) and Mr. Taylor's. Wow! Got the BRW knob from Turtle and using it on a NOS vintage Progress short handle. Very nice shave with the added weight of the BRW knob allowing gravity to accomplish the shave. No pressure. Just falls down my face cutting whiskers. Pic. to follow.

Merkur 15C for me today on Merkur Monday.
I used my 34C HD tonight. I love that thing. No matter how tired I am I can still get a great shave with it.
one of my futur's , I bought a satin finish and liked it so much I bought a gold plated as well

Are the Vintage Progress(es?) pot metal like the modern version? Or are do they have a brass base?
