Tony Miller Arrival

Arrived today. My first impression of the 3" Heirloom Artisan Premium Fast Bridle Strop.

Beautiful Craftsmanship. Very Sturdy feeling construction. Overall appearance here is just Awesome. Has the look that it should hold up for many years. I learned to strop on an SRD and it has some serious wounds. I'm Happy I decided to try this one. Ive seen many talking about Tony's strops and the Quality. I'm not disappointed one bit. Feels like stropping on Glass compared to the Premium I leather.

I have a plain chocolate. If i need another one it will be the heirloom. Looks fantastic.
I'd like to try that plain chocolate as well

That's gorgeous! Strop porn.
Thank you .

I've found my TM bridle strop responds more to being warmed by hand-rubbing than my other (plain jane veg tanned cowhide) strops. The draw increases significantly (from very slick to about medium-fast), and the leather feels more supple as well.

I agree. I have been been doing exactly this.:001_smile

My TM 2.5" horsehide is the pinnacle of strops for me. I sold off a lot of strops after purchasing that one. I did keep the TM 3" bridle though. Warmed up with my palm, it's THE strop for certain razors.

The shaving community has been well served by such a great vendor as Tony Miller. He offers simply a wonderful product and the fact that it serves so many gentlemen over the years is a testament to the quality and artistry of simple leather and steel assembled.

Yours is a perfect example. Enjoy.

My 3" heirloom arrived yesterday. Learned how to strop on the plain chocolate, which has a few nicks in it now.. Excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail.. Look forward to using it!
