Timeless Razor Baseplate

Hi Guys,

I need your help with my Timeless Razor base plate selection. I like the look of the scalloped base plate but I am concerned about it's performance. Does it leave shaving soap behind after each stroke (like a open comb razor), does it perform like a solid bar or is it somewhere in the middle of the two.

It performs like a solid bar plate. The scalloped plate gives you a touch more feedback while the Straight bar plate is just slightly smoother. Not so much as to be a major difference between the two. They both shave very similar to one another and I suspect you'll be very happy with either one. I'd choose the one that's most visually appealing to you.
