New to SR shaving and still practicing on a shavette, I picked up my very first SR from a 2nd hand dealer near home.
It was in pretty good nick and reasonably sharp still. I wouldn't go so far as to call it a resto but I cleaned all the gunk off it and from inside the scales and gave it a gentle polish by hand without taking it out of the scales.
Just waiting on a couple of stones and the strop to turn up so I can hone and strop it then shave with it. Something I'm really looking forward to!
