There was only one other thing I could of done to be closer to a 100% Gillette shave and that would have been to use a gilette blade and a Gillette brush. I forgot to use the blade and my Gillette brush doesn't have a knot at by the present time. As it is, the Fatboy, the Astra SP, and the Arko gave me a perfect shave. Finished with Gillette ASB and Cool Wave and I am ready to start the day. Have a blessed day gentlemen.

well, my 1st shave with the 'Purist', and what a damn fine shave it was...I must admit that the 8/8 blade is going to take a few more shaves to get used to, but I really enjoyed it.
