The travel razor has worked very well, once I adjusted to the short handle. For me it's been a bit trickier to keep the proper blade angle.

Well as I stayed overnight at my Mother's I had to pack a makeshift travel shaving kit. Only a brief 10 minute shave as I did not want to hog the bathroom as there are other guests staying.

The Am. Crew Shave Cream was somewhat underwhelming, though, despite the instructions, I tried using the brush with it and did not get any lather to speak of.. The sc seemed to dry very quickly on my face, even though I kept adding more water. I'll try it again without the brush to see if that makes a difference (probably whipping air into an already somewhat thin cream caused it to be overly dry). I do like the scent of it, and I did get a fairly decent shave, I guess that is what's most important..
