Okay, this accounts for 10 of them. With the amount of SBAD we have on B&B, I believe we can do better than that!
Yep, it's only a matter of time. Ken, have you given your new Astor a spin?

How many Simpson Anniversary Astors are in the hands of traditional wetshavers worldwide who have never heard of shaving forums? My guess is less than a half dozen. This gives me plenty of time to cave and pick one up perhaps. When will the first one show up on a BST? Hmmmmm.

Mike, knowing that you and many others are just waiting to pounce on the inevitable B/S/T offering is what provided me the final impetus (or is that "rationale" ?) to purchase a new brush, rather than waiting in line!
Bill, this morning was a WONDERFUL experience. I broke out the Penhaligon's English Fern (tallow) soap, whipped up a great lather with the Astor, then used my Cobra Classic to achieve BBS !
I saw no evidence of shedding, and the Astor is just stiff enough to do a great job with shaving soap; but not so stiff that it would massacre a cream!
The only way I could imagine a better experience is if I had been using one of those beautiful new Pils DE razors. But that's on down the road .....
Decided to take the plunge. Lucky number #13 is heading to Potomac Falls, VA
