A few days ago I bought one of the early ones off Ebay as my first DE razor, can't wait
You will get a lot of suggestions, Astra SP being the main one, but I love a Personna lab. The Krona is a great test driver and what I usually try different blades in to get a good feel if I like them or not.
I scored my mint Krona on eBay in 2008. It is the only DE razor I have used among the 6 or 7 I have, apart from using a Feather travel razor briefly for vacations.
As mentioned above Feathers and Astra SP's are recommended as are Astra Keramik's. I intend to try my Kai and Polsilver blades in the future.

Tried my first shave w/Krona today,and I was very surprised how effortless and smooth it is!
Krona's are nice and I would compare then to EJ's. Gland you enjoyed it.
