Saint Charles Shave Bulgarian Rose

Discussion in 'Shaving Soaps' started by Ron Gallant, Feb 1, 2012.

  1. Today I pulled out my horded puck of SCS Bulgarian Rose. When I recieved it three years ago it was in the shape of a rose and in it's natural off yellow color. I keep it in an anchor jar with the lid tight. I had put it away wet about a year ago. This was usually no problem but this time the moisture stayed. It actually softened the soap and it flattened out like a regular puck. Still soft to the touch, I lathered it up with my Semogue 1305 and it was fine. The smell of roses filled my nose. Lathering gave me the usual SCS thick, slick lather that is so moisturizing. Great shave today.
