Oh my!
Did you happen to see that 7 day set of ivory clad, pristine MK #33s that sold on French Ebay a couple of years ago? Went for $250 or so. To this day I'm peeved that my snipe didn't fire.
Snipe?! If I see a set like that, I'd be up for it no matter what and ready to put in my bid.
Just reading about it makes me feel regret...

I'd say so, considering the MK 31 in Ivory on eBay yesterday hit $265 before the auction was pulled. Can't remember if it said Ivory in the description or not, but couldn't believe it was bid that high as is.
Yes it is!That is just nuts.
Yes it is!
The last one I bought cost me $7 (50SEK)...
You are most welcome here! That is it! I am coming to Sweden!!

Well, it's the biggest (7/8) of the MK-series & also a very rare bird.Is the MK #33 the one to have? I just picked up an MK #7 at a good price.

So sure, it's definitely a top of the line razor.
But IMO any Heljestrand is a very good razor.
The no7 rocks
You are most welcome here!
But you might want to see this before going...
The winds will be picking up strength during the night.
Strong gale & heavy snowfall tomorrow
Yes, that is -5F (with heavy wind!) & you read right, the sun comes up at

Anyhow;
C.V Heljestrand MK#29
The smallest of the MK series.
Looks just like the MK#30-33.
A wee tad over 3/8 & it takes just as good an edge as the rest of the MK#3x.
Very strange to shave with. Just too small, but still holds an edge that easily mows down 3 days of stubble. I know, because I've tried.
Ivory!BTW - those are some very handsome scales!
And another Engstrom, he must have really succeeded in his American marketing! Nice razor!5/8th's Johan Engström
