Lunazul Blanco

Since I've started frequenting this subforum I've started noticing more and more offerings at my Local L.S. (Even though Jack Daniels out numbers the good stuff like 14 bottles to 1)

One I've not yet seen talked about here is Lunazul tequila. Scourging the tequila section I didn't see many familiar faces, but I did come across this. Between the 1800 and Jose Cuarvo sat this little guy.

I decided to try it because it was a couple bucks cheaper than my go to (Cuarvo [we drink margaritas so we don't splurge on tequila])

Sooooo much better than Cuarvo. I'm not sure if it's a sipper, but it makes a superb margarita!

I have mentioned this brand several times, though not a sipper it is at least 100% Agave which is more that can be said for swill like Cuervo's mixto. You just discovered that a 100% Agave brand tastes far better than a mixto (51% Agave). Lunazul is more than adequate as a mixer. Any decent brand will say "100% Agave" on the label.
