Incredible shots, gents.
wow! What pop, and phenomenal composition.
So, I was out for a walk a few months back and saw this thistle. This was taken with my Motorola Droid 2 with no filters..
Just a lavender plant in bloom being robbed of its pollen by a honey bee.... From my front yard.

After hacking down most of the garden, this sole Sunflower remains standing tall.
Not strictly (or any other way!) flowers, but close. No?

From today; I was actually quite surprised to see blooming flowers at the side of the road at this time of year - we are having about 4 °C ~ 39 °F.
I like this photo, because you can see the autumn colours of the trees in the background

Søren those look to be calendula as well, same as my backyard. Very tough and they'll self seed like crazy.
