New to straight razors but have been wet shaving for about 4yrs now. Just joined B&B at the end of February just after the move to the new forum format. I just got my first real lather the other day with some Blades Grim soap. Tomorrow I am trying it with some Sampsons I got in the mail yesterday from The Superior Shave.

Welcome from a fellow Marylander. I'm new here myself and I've found it a very friendly place with good advice (and good enabling for RAD, SAD, BAD, ASAD, etc).
BTW, on that note, you should check out Uncle Jon's soaps (I can't link since he has a blog, you'd have to google his store). Great shaving soaps, and he has a storefront in Berlin, MD (another semi-local guy). I don't think he posts here though.
