For scale, this object is about 6 inches across the horizontal dimension.

Its a mother in law removal tool. I've heard about these but only dreamed of ever seeing one much less owning one. You hold it like a pistol and when the mother in law starts nosing into your buisness, you shove the curved end into the offending nostril. then you drag her outside spin around 3 times and let go. Now you make a mad dash back into the house and deadbolt all the doors and windows. Turn on the security alarm and call 911 to report a suspicious person prowling around and give maw in law's description. It really works like a charm.
