Fine clean Vetiver and Guerlain Vetiver

So I heard this fine aftershave is modeled after Guerlain Vetiver, anyone know if it smells similar to the vintage one or the reformulated? By the way, I haven't smelled either. I just like the fine clean Vetiver and want to pick up the cologne it is supposed to be modeled after.

Well I just looked on the website and is modeled after the 1961 scent.

My new question, had anyone tried the old and the new, and do they smell the same?

I haven't tried the original, but the Fine Clean Vetiver and a recent bottle of the Guerlain is my go-to combination.

Isn't Green Vetiver the one that's supposed to smell like Guerlain?

Thanks Trent. Maybe I'll try to pick up a new bottle and see how it smells. Heron, green/clean should be the same thing.

I love Fine Clean Vetiver but, Guerlain Vetiver is very dated. It reminds me of Grandfather. I won't be replacing it. Mugler cologne is a better Vetiver.
