True. I thought I was out of 7 for a while. Suddenly, I developed SSAD, a brief case of SBAD, and went back into RAD.
Stage 10 - You are able to will your beard to grow thereby shaving as many times in a day as you please.
Fantastic 5 star thread here! The only difference for me was that my interest in colognes is actually what lead me to the shaving aspect.
I think I'm stuck on 8.

Great post! Pretty much sums up the stages I have progressed through and it sounds like many others have experienced the same thing.

LOL. Great post. I am currently living #8.
I tell everyone I know how great this is but have yet to convert anyone.
It is a difficult task. The best way is to have a starter kit to give them.
AD, didn't think it could happen to me. I knew I just needed a brush, a razor and some soap. I wouldn't be like these other guys on the forum that had to have 5 or 6 of everything. Dam it I am entering stage 7 and I know there is something else I need.

As soon as everything is familiar and you get good results with your chosen tools, you go looking for other tools/consumables.
Then you start looping back from 2 again.

SWMBO calls it my "bizarre razor fetish"
but does add that it's nice I've got a hobby!

Hard to believe that I posted this a year ago...02-23-2009!
What's changed for me? Not much, other than instead of marveling at all of this, it's now become an accepted part of my life.
RAD has subsided. SAD has taken it's place, and SBAD lurks in the background.
