In any business it is wise to listen to your customers. As time passed it became clear that a number of guys wanted a longer handle from ATT. We had a traditional length handle at 3" another at 3.5" so I decided to roll out our largest at 4". We called it "Colossus" for obvious reasons. For me the trick was the design. One sketch after another was drawn then discarded. I started thinking about vintage razors I had used and recalled one in particular. The Gillette Super Adjustable sometimes called the "Black Beauty". It came in two handle sizes the long handle version I appreciated the most. So by now I am sure you know where this is going. I drew inspiration from that old razor as I designed the new Colossus handle. In the photos below you can see them side by side. I hope you like this modern stainless shaver which gives a nod of respect and appreciation to the past.
