I've found FW is deceptively dominant in mixes. i use Zatgai's orange spice with 2 parts old spice and 1 part FW.I think you are right. It needs something else though. I'll have to figure it out.

I splashed on some Clubman Vanilla a few minutes ago, and as I put the bottle away I saw the Aqua Velva Musk and thought they might be good together. Splashed on a bit and the blend is fantastic! No measurements or anything, just a quick pour of each. The Manilla Velva.
What would we call a Vanilla Lilac Vegetal blend? The Vagilla?
