Went to visit my parents over last weekend and was talking to my mom about shaving. She offered me up my Dad's 1970's Old Spice mug. I don't think he'll mind since he is a cart and can guy now. She said the brush might be somewhere in their bathroom. But here's my new/old soap mug:
New to this whole thing, so I had to

Today I received a couple of handmade sleeves made out of cork skin, and with a silicone treatment, to prevent rusting.

August was by far my biggest month, and aside from regular purchases like soaps/blades I'm done for a while. Also sold off some of the stuff I no longer used (CJB Kamisori, EJ DE89, starter brush, NEW)

I had a great eBay weekend to close out August 2014, and I feel like I have to share!
My first purchase was a badly faded Navy Set that sold for less than an Army Khaki Set. My military set collection is now complete, although I still plan to keep an eye out for a better specimen.
My second purchase was an underpriced lot that included a pretty solid looking Gillette Senator:
Finally, the universe gave me a Holy Grail item to close out the weekend...a new [or very minty] F-4 Toggle, with shipper! This beauty was poorly listed, and I was told by the seller that I purchased the item within 2 minutes of listing. I am so glad to have found this razor. I have all of my fingers and toes crossed that the instructions/case candy are tucked under the display tray.
