I was gifted a Frankenrazor to start with here, thanks Ccpastork, after i joined up. My wife got me a TTO off the ole amazon and it works just fine. so i wanted to try to see what else was out there and the Adj caught my eye. Well Ccpastork sent me a Frankenrazor, old type with fat tech handle and it cuts more aggressively! got a few spots, but nothing to severe. the handle is lighter than my TTO and its shorter, but I'm sure after a few uses, it will work just fine, my learning curve not a problem with the razor.

The Old type head is a very efficient shaver, but not the mildest. The fat Tech handle is my preferred short handle and so I say you got a great combination. Yes, practice will reward you with this razor. Just remember, no pressure and mind your head angle. This is different from a TTO which has a thicker head. Kind of like driving a Ford F150 and then jumping into a Mazda Miata.
