So I finally lucked out an got some really cool hones. I got a coticule from Gamma and a vintage Norton HB6 Trans Ark. I've been burnishing this thing for it feels like hours. How can one get a more polish off the ark? Just keep burnishing or any tips on what you do to get that high gloss?

I was using a new putty knife for a little bit. I then went to a Dovo 6/8 Straight razor. I've gone through your thread of your arks but I haven't see the best way to go about it

Very nice stone. Vintage Norton hard arks have always been my favorite.

So far the black ark is giving me a better edge. I'm still trying to burnish it completely. Some of your stones are so shiny I'm trying to get it there. So far 400 laps with my SR on soap/water have gotten me here. Just watching some SG-1 while I do it. That is the black Ark in the picture
