I have two Thiers Issard 7/8 straight razors. Both are made from carbon song c135 steel, one has a square point (Bijou De France) and the second with a barber's notch and polished Ram's horn scales. Both are beautiful examples of straight razors. When they arrived, neither were shave ready, however about 15 laps on the Suehiro 20k made them into sensational shaving razors. I have nothing bad to say about them, and I'd recommend them. You pay for what you get.
