I've bought glassware in the past from the world market and been very pleased

Do you guys think these would make good "rocks" glasses

I guess I'm asking if they're the correct glass for lowball/rocks/ old fashioned type drinks

Not a fan of the fat rim. I have some about the same size, great for rocks, but I tend to over do it with such a large glass.

I've used them. got some on the shelf now. and a taller, 16 oz glass too. pretty sure you can pick them up at Walmart and/or other lower end sellers.

To me an Old Fashioned would be in a tall glass. But as a rocks glass that should do fine.

My favorite is one without ridges and with a strong bottom.

Goodwill stores are a great source for glasses. If they don't work as expected, you are seldom out more than 50¢ each and you can return them on your next trip.
